The paper presents the problem of high level of noise at workplace of operators of earthmoving machines and the problem of noise emitted by these machines to the environment. The paper presents also the basic information concerning the administrative methods of noise control like EU directives and regulations of the Polish authorities concerning noise level at workplace and the noise emitted to the environment.
